Gavin & Stacey is a double BAFTA Award (2008,2009) and British Comedy Award (2007,2008) winning sitcom based around the relationship between a Essex boy and a nice girl from South Wales.

The show was created by James Corden and Ruth Jones and produced by Baby Cow Productions (Marion & Geoff, Nighty Night, Saxondale, The Mighty Boosh) for the BBC and stars; Matt Horne (The Catherine Tate Show) as Gavin, Joanna Page (From Hell, Love Actually) as Stacey, James Corden (Teachers) as Smithy, Ruth Jones (Little Dorrit, Nighty Night) as Ness, Larry Lamb (Eastenders) as Mick, Alison Steadman (Pride and Prejudice) as Pam and Rob Brydon (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Marion & Geoff) as Bryn.

Into Its third season the comedy follows Gavin a football loving, beer slugging Essex boy and Stacey is a nice girl from South Wales, their telephone romance was a success and after meeting they fall in love but then struggle as family and friends get in the way of their marriage.
